Riva boats were favored by the European elite of the era, including many notable movie stars, industrialists, and heads of state. Company founder, Carlo Riva, named this model after watching an American movie at the theatre which was filmed in “Cinerama”. The name translated into every language and he felt that it captured the essence of this model. This 1969 Aquarama is one of only 27 Super Aquarama models built in this year. Only 203 of these boats were ever built throughout the years of production. The
boat is powered with twin 454cid engines which provide very suitable power. It is believed that fewer than 50 of these boats reside in North America. This boat has been comprehensively restored to a very high standard. The overall finish, brightwork, interior, chrome, and gauges are in Bristol condition. The twin engines are clean, well presented, and match the overall condition of the rest of the boat. A restoration of this quality, with originality in mind, is indicative of pride of ownership.
