Riva boats were built in Sarnico, Italy and are considered the Stradivarius of wooden boats. The various models were made popular by the captains of industry, movie stars, and celebrities. They are stylish, beautiful, and no attention to detail was spared by their designer, Carlo Riva. This Riva Tritone was built in 1959 and was the first boat to use the modern Calyx steering wheel and the zebra-patterned upholstery. The boat has been repowered with contemporary 350cid engines, fuel injected, producing 300hp each. Most notably, the history of ownership indicates that Rita Hayworth was the first owner. The boat has undergone a 4,000 hour restoration with no detail overlooked. One of only 29 built in 1959, and only 226 were built between 1950 and 1966.
