This 1953 Shepherd began life as an 18' runabout and during her restoration, she was transformed into a Gentleman's Racer configuration. Her windshield was inspired by a 1939 Shepherd Utility. A tree had fallen on the decks in her later years making the boat a prime candidate for a custom rebuild. Complete by Wykes Boatworks; the restoration included a full no-soak bottom rebuild, new decks, repower with a 350 Crusader V8 engine, custom canitlevered engine hatch design, electric adjusting (forward-backward, up-down) captain and passenger seats, and an art deco style burgee pole matching the pre-war Shepherd design. Sold complete with a custom cover and single axle trailer.
