Chris-Craft produced the 22-foot triple cockpit runabouts from 1927 to 1931. The earliest builds were called “Cadets.” This triple cockpit has an LOA of 22 feet and a beam of 6 feet.
For improved performance and reliability, the original engine was replaced with a Chrysler Marine V8. Other upgrades include new wiring, upgraded 25 gallon galvanized and baffled fuel tank, auto and manual bilge pumps and engine compartment fire extinguisher. During the restoration the bottom was upgraded to a 5200 no-soak bottom. Barring the performance and safety upgrades the 1931 Chris Craft is an excellent example of the model.
