This a show-ready example 1956 Chris-Craft 17ft Sportsman which has been refurbished carefully and pampered. The utility design allows for recreational use and cruising with guests. Don’t be fooled by its age, this boat can pull skiers, tubers, and wakeboarders! The Owner purchased the boat a few years ago but has recently had a child and needs to “simplify” and wants this vessel to be used by someone who can take it out more often. This 1956 Chris Craft is powered by a 97hp Model K original engine that was fully re-built in 2018 and has less than 30 hours on it since rebuilding. This boat has an original bottom that “soaks up” exactly as it was designed. The recent varnish is in good shape, both on the deck and hull sides. This boat is gorgeous and in pristine shape, smooth running with that great antique boat feel. Boat includes custom bunk trailer for easy transport and a full waterline cover. Always used in the fresh water lakes of New Hampshire and now Tennessee and a great boat for antique shows, recreational use, and sunset cruising!
Custom single axle trailer sufficient for local travel.
